With the US government having proposed changes to legislation which would allow for more water flow, here’s what you need to know about why… What has Trump said about showerheads? Trump made comments at the White House in July criticising the power of the showers in the United States, implying he needs a higher pressure to maintain his ‘perfect’ hair. Under a 1992 law, showerheads in the US are restricted from producing no more than 2.5 gallons (9.5 litres) of water per minute. Speaking about his issue with showers, Trump said: ‘So showerheads. You take a shower, the water doesn’t come out.
