Donald Trump has called for ‘retribution’ after Alec Baldwin’s latest Saturday Night Live sketch took aim at his emergency declaration. The US president called the parody ‘very unfair’ and said ‘fake news NBC’ should be looked into and investigated, adding: ‘This is collusion’. Saturday’s portrayal parodied a press conference on Friday where he announced a national emergency over his plans to build a US-Mexico border wall. {“@context”:“https:\/\/schema.org”,“@type”:“VideoObject”,“name”:“Metro.co.uk”,“duration”:“T37S”,“thumbnailUrl”:“https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2019\/02\/18\/09\/9950200-0-image-a-26_1550482235963.jpg”,“uploadDate”:“2019-02-18T09:25:32+0000”,“description”:“Alec Baldwin returns as ‘Donald Trump’ on Saturday Night Live, and the President of the United States doesn’t come away unscathed.”,“contentUrl”:“https:\/\/videos.metro.co.uk\/video\/met\/2019\/02\/18\/3628026359225731698\/960x540_MP4_3628026359225731698.mp4”,“height”:540,“width”:960} To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Donald Trump took to Twitter to hit out at NBC and the show (Picture: Twitter) Baldwin says in the sketch: ‘We. We have a problem. Drugs are coming into this country through no wall. ‘Wall works, wall makes safe. Democrat Congressman Ted Lieu also tweeted: ‘One thing that makes America great is that people can laugh at you without retribution.’ {“@context”:“https:\/\/schema.org”,“@type”:“VideoObject”,“name”:“Metro.co.uk”,“duration”:“T1M52S”,“thumbnailUrl”:“https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2019\/02\/15\/15\/9867256-0-image-a-10_1550246661129.jpg”,“uploadDate”:“2019-02-15T16:03:32+0000”,“description”:“Trump praises China’s capital punishment for drug trafficking in national emergency address.”,“contentUrl”:“https:\/\/videos.metro.co.uk\/video\/met\/2019\/02\/15\/5045127882498749796\/480x270_MP4_5045127882498749796.mp4”,“height”:270,“width”:480} To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video I wonder if a sitting President exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family? — HABFoundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) February 18, 2019 Trump said on Twitter: ‘Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC!
