Offset was not handcuffed as he spoke to police after being removed from his car (Picture: P&P / MEGA) Cardi B’s husband Offset live-streamed himself being dragged from his car by police officers and being detained while driving through a Donald Trump rally. The Migos rapper was in the middle of filming an Instagram live as several officers approached his side of the car and asked the star to remove his hands from the steering wheel. Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, refused and stated: ‘[I’m] a celebrity, you know who I am, I’m Offset from the Migos, they were fans that’s why they were following me, bro.’ However, the female officer – who appeared to be holding a firearm – explained: ‘That’s nothing to do with why we’re here. We were told that you guys were waving guns at people.’ The rapper replied: ‘You just watched somebody beat my car up with a flag, what are you talking about? You told me to put my hands up, I’m not doing that, there’s 25,000 people on my live. You’re going to get sued publicly.’ As a male officer reached inside Offset’s vehicle, Offset said: ‘That’s not legal, you can’t do that, you can’t just open my door.’ The officer argued: ‘Yes I can, you’re going to get out this car right now.’ Whoa Offset was just arrested on IG live, like just now pic.twitter.com/PTp4sEtAA5 — philip lewis (@Phil_Lewis_) October 25, 2020 Offset repeated: ‘You can’t just open my door like that, it’s illegal. I’m going to sue the s**t outta y’all.’ The officers proceeded with opening his car door and pulled him out onto the street. ‘What is you grabbing my f*****g wrist for? [That’s] aggressive, bro,’ Offset is heard saying. The 28-year-old was then seen talking to several police officers while leaning against a wall with his hands in his pockets. He was earlier handcuffed immediately after being removed from his vehicle. Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed that Offset was not arrested and released without charge. However, they revealed that Cardi B’s cousin Marcelo Almanzar, was taken into police custody. After the on-scene investigation, the passenger in the vehicle [Almanzar] was arrested.’ Almanzar has reportedly been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm in public, and is being held on a $35,000 bond. Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar, also filmed herself travelling through the pro-Trump rally on Saturday. In a series of Instagram stories, the Bodak Yellow rapper said: ‘Look how many f*****s, I’m scared now. Nah, we gonna get jumped. I really feel like we gonna get jumped.
