Australian singer Ben Lee brilliantly mocks Donald Trump’s awkward dancing (Picture: Twitter) Australian singer Ben Lee has bestowed on us all a perfect mash-up of President Donald Trump awkwardly dancing at one of his campaign rallies and his track Catch My Disease. Ben brilliantly mocks Trump in the mash up, which sees the US president moving and grooving in perfect time to his, well aptly named, song. Trump is seen fist pumping and clapping along, as the song plays out: ‘So please, baby please. Come on, and catch my disease.’ It comes as Trump recently tested positive for coronavirus and was hospitalised for three days while receiving treatment. He was then seen back in the White House and continuing his presidential campaign ahead of the US election next month, with Trump even joking at a rally in Florida that he felt so ‘powerful’ after beating Covid-19, he wanted to ‘kiss all of his supporters’. His comments were criticised and seemed to prompt some editing genius on Ben’s part, who shared his mash up on Twitter and said: ‘Can’t believe it took me all day to realise I had to do this.’ Can’t believe it took me all day to realize I had to do this. pic.twitter.com/L53ZkxsjNb — Ben Lee (@benleemusic) October 18, 2020 Fans were all for the mash up, with one branding it the ‘best sync of 2020’, another tweeted: ‘Please someone make this challenge on TikTok.’ ‘The genius of the obvious. Well played. And well played,’ commented another, while one follower tweeted: ‘I see what you did there @benleemusic love the soundtrack very appropriate.’ Singer Ben wasn’t the only one poking fun at Trump’s tendency to dance to the YMCA at his rallies, as the cast of Seinfield were seen comparing his moves to Elaine’s, when she’s famously seen getting down in an episode of the hit series. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Elaine, tweeted a clip of Trump dancing alongside her character’s efforts and said: ‘First he stole all of Veep. Now he’s stealing from Seinfeld. Melania deserves an Emmy for acting like she’s attracted to THIS.’ First he stole all of Veep. Now he’s stealing from Seinfeld. Melania deserves an Emmy for acting like she’s attracted to THIS. https://t.co/tAeQEK7LPh — Julia Louis-Dreyfus (@OfficialJLD) October 19, 2020 The President is apparently a fan of @OfficialJLD ‘s famous I can’t dance for shit moves. Julia was working hard to be that awful. I feel like these are his best moves. https://t.co/fNGCnzdahX — jason alexander (@IJasonAlexander) October 18, 2020 Jason Alexander, who plays George Costanza on the show, was seen joining in as he tweeted the same mash-up of Trump and Elaine and wrote: ‘The President is apparently a fan of @OfficialJLD ‘s famous I can’t dance for sh*t moves. Julia was working hard to be that awful. I feel like these are his best moves.’ America’s current president Trump is set to go head-to-head with Joe Biden in the presidential election that takes place on November 3. Following his coronavirus diagnosis, Trump came under fire after urging US citizens ‘not to fear’ the infection or let it ‘dominate’ their lives, despite America being one of the hardest hit countries amid the pandemic. Do you really think everyone has access to that?!’ He added: ‘Sadly, I’m sure you’re aware of that disparity, you just don’t care. This is reckless to a shocking degree, even for you.’ Got a story?
