50 Cent has had conflicted feelings about Donald Trump recently (Picture: Getty Images) 50 Cent has done a u-turn on his own support for Donald Trump by criticising Lil Wayne for meeting up with the president. In the run up to the US presidential election on November 3, Lil Wayne took a trip to the White House for a meeting with Trump to discuss criminal reform. It was the first time the Lollipop rapper has publicly pledged his allegiance to the divisive Republican president and naturally his fans were shocked. Leading reactions to Lil Wayne’s smiley photo with Trump, fellow rapper 50 Cent tweeted: ‘Oh no 👀 WAYNE🤦♂️, I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE.’ Rapper Lil Jon was particularly strong in his opinion of Trump and, when asked by a follower if he also supports the POTUS, replied: ‘HOW ABOUT F****** NOOOOOO.’ Alongside their photo, Lil Wayne said: ‘Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. ‘He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.’ Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. Just last week, 50 Cent controversially claimed he would be voting for Trump after seeing a report about Joe Biden’s plans to significantly raise taxes for those earning over $400,000 (£307,000) in New York City. He made that very clear to me.’ She then admitted: ‘I did promise to pay his taxes and then I found out it’s illegal to pay somebody to vote for your candidate.
