Kid Rock’s been a longtime supporter of Trump (Picture: AP; Getty) Kid Rock is reportedly set to make an appearance at a Donald Trump rally tonight to support the president’s campaign for re-election. The musician will join Donald Trump Jr and his girlfriend Kim Guilfoyle, who is also a senior advisor to the president, at the campaign event taking place in Harrison Charter Township in Michigan on Monday evening. President Trump himself will not be in attendance but his son has already welcomed Kid Rock with open arms. ‘It’s going to be a fun one in Michigan today with @KidRock And @kimguilfoyle ! Kid Rock to join Donald Trump Jr. for Michigan campaign rally to promote the president’s reelection,’ he tweeted earlier. Kid Rock has not spoken out about his upcoming appearance but he has been a supporter of Trump in the past, notably endorsing the businessman’s first campaign run for the White House in 2016. The pair then met in 2018 when Trump signed the Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act at the White House. Kid Rock delivered a speech at the event and spoke highly of the POTUS, saying: ‘There’s a whole lot of people in this country that do give you a lot of credit for everything you’ve been doing for this country. Another great day on the links! Thank you to POTUS for having me and to EVERYONE at Trump International for being so wonderful. What a great man, so down to earth and so fun to be with!! KEEP AMERICA GREAT!! -Kid Rock pic.twitter.com/cSsswI5PbW — Kid Rock (@KidRock) March 23, 2019 ‘We know that some people don’t give it to you as much as maybe they should sometimes.’ Their friendship has strengthened over the past few years and Kid Rock even joined Trump for a round of golf at the president’s at his residence in Mar-A-Lago in 2019. The musician shared a photo of them posing on the golf course with the caption: ‘Another great day on the links! Thank you to POTUS for having me and to EVERYONE at Trump International for being so wonderful. ‘What a great man, so down to earth and so fun to be with!!
