The team’s communications director Tim Murtaugh said ‘quarantine procedures’ were immediately initiated and no staff member who tested positive would attend the event. He said no one who had immediate contact with those staffers would be allowed either. As tens and thousands of people from multiple states made their way to the rally, health officials raised fears of a spike in coronavirus cases. The arena in which the event is being held can hold up to 19,000 people and is expected to be packed to the rafters. Murtaugh said staff members are tested for COVID-19 as part of safety protocols. Campaign officials say everyone who is attending the rally will be given temperature checks before they pass through security. They will also be given masks to wear, if they want, and hand sanitiser upon entering the BOK Center. According to NBC, all of those attending have been required to sign a digital waiver relieving the campaign of any responsibility if they become sick.
