He said: ‘Democrats decided to shield and shelter criminicakls, look, look…you have criminals.’ Pro-Trump channel Fox News screened the speech live, and cut away from the president as he suffered the mishap. But Trump and his spokespeople have insisted that his mistakes are just occasional stumbles over words or phrases, and no cause for concern.
