Despite the ever-present impeachment cloud lingering over his head, the US President instead vented his frustration at regulations which supposedly leave facilities not producing enough water. ‘People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times as opposed to once,’ he lamented. ‘They end up using more water.’ Trump announced on Friday he had issued an order to review conservation regulations for various bathroom facilities. He added that his administration was also ‘looking very strongly at sinks and showers’. The 1992 law stipulated new toilets could use no more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush. ‘You go into a new building, a new house or a new home and they have standards and you don’t get water,’ Trump said.
