Boris Johnson is the target in Cassetteboy’s latest video (Picture: Getty) Cassetteboy has released a new mashup taking aim at Boris Johnson and accusing him of telling lies on everything in the Tory manifesto – from Brexit to the NHS. To the tune of MC Hammer’s ‘U Can’t Touch This’, the remix uses cuts of the PM’s various speeches to warn voters: ‘You can’t trust me.’ The video targets Mr Johnson’s manifesto pledges on police and nurse staff numbers that have since been heavily criticised. It also comments on Conservative austerity cuts and growing poverty, as well as the NHS and Mr Johnson’s ‘friendship’ with US President Donald Trump. ‘Remember the lies on the side of a bus? I am a guy who you can’t trust,’ the prime minister says in the edit. New! Cassetteboy vs Boris Johnson pic.twitter.com/b7QKvGJBwn — Cassetteboy (@Cassetteboy) December 5, 2019 Memorable lines include: ‘I promised thousands more police but that’s less than we already cut. ‘If you trust me you must be off your nut.’ It also swaps the ‘hammer time’ of the original song with 10-seconds of ‘stammer time’ showing Mr Johnson waffling, umming and ahhing his way through speeches. Cassetteboy has previously targeted Theresa May, David Cameron and Donald Trump, as well as TV stars including Alan Sugar, Jeremy Kyle, Jamie Oliver and Paul Hollywood. The Parody Boris Johnson Twitter account thanked Cassetteboy for the ‘moving tribute’. The actual prime minister is yet to comment on the video mashup.
