The President of the United States mistook US Navy veteran Frank Dawson for a protester at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire on Thursday night. Referring to Dawson in front of a huge crowd of supporters, Trump said: ‘That guy’s got a serious weight problem. ‘Go home. Start exercising. get him out, please. Got a bigger problem than I do.’ Fox News later tracked down Dawson, 31, who now works as a police officer. Dawson said: ‘I think he thought I was part of it, but I was the good part of it.’ He claimed not to have been offended by Trump’s remarks, adding: ‘Everything’s good! I love the guy! The O.C. creator delivers some bad news about a potential reboot ‘He’s the best thing that ever happened to this country.’ President Trump’s own weight was described as being in the obese range by doctors in February this year after his annual medical check-up. The politician, known for his love of McDonald’s cheeseburgers, was found to weigh 243lb (110kg) and have a body mass index (BMI) over 30. Meanwhile, Trump used the same speech to claim his insult-fueled presidency is ‘built on love.’ It came as White House sources claimed that the president has repeatedly inquired about whether the United States would be able to buy Greenland from Denmark. The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump may be interested in Greenland’s natural resources. The huge island, an autonomous Danish territory, is home to the Thule Air Base, the US military’s most northern base on Earth. It features a ballistic missile early warning system that reaches thousands of miles into Russian territory. Greenland’s government responded to Trump’s offer by insisting their island was not for sale.
