The two leaders met on the second day of the G7 summit where they both hope to agree a trade deal. Asked what his advice was for Brexit, Mr Trump said: ‘He needs no advice, he is the right man for the job.’ Mr Johnson said the president was ‘on message there’. Speaking alongside Mr Johnson at the summit in Biarritz, France, he said a ‘very big trade deal, bigger than we’ve ever had’ will be agreed. The PM said the NHS was ‘off the table’ when it came to any deals made with the US for after Britain leaves the EU – which Mr Trump said could be reached ‘quickly’. The Prime Minister told the PA news agency: ‘Not only have I made clear of that, the president has made that very, very clear. ‘There is complete unanimity on that point.’ Got a story for Metro.co.uk?
