The Foreign Office spokesperson has said a ‘formal leak investigation’ will now be carried out with the aim of finding out who was responsible. The documents, which contain details of Sir Darroch’s assessment of the Trump administration, were obtained by the Mail On Sunday. Trump responded to the news last night in a series of tweets and accused the Prime Minister of making ‘a mess’ of Brexit. What has Donald Trump said about Theresa May? Donald Trump had met with Theresa May during his state visit in June, which also including meeting with the Queen and attending a D-Day ceremony in Portsmouth. A month later he has criticised her approach to Brexit on Twitter, following the leaked memos involving the British Ambassador for the Unites States.
