The rapper was arrested in Stockholm on 3 July on suspicion of assault after an altercation between his entourage and another man. A$AP has allegedly been living in ‘inhumane conditions’ in jail, prompting a slew of politicians, rappers and celebrities to protest his release. Kanye apparently encouraged Kim to reach out to the President’s son-in-law, senior adviser Jared Kushner, for help. Kim, who is training to be a lawyer, already has a relationship with Kushner due to her previous work on criminal justice reform.
