(Credit: https://ift.tt/2VaGQZ8) Unhappy with reporting from the New York Times that accuses him of meddling in the Michael Cohen criminal investigation, President Donald Trump said that he would no longer be doing the newspaper’s iconic crossword puzzle. “That’s it, I’m done,” said Mr. Trump to reporters on Wednesday. “I was psyched because I had worked up to completing the Sunday puzzle in under an hour, but now I’m finished. The New York Times is the true enemy of the people and that also means I’m an enemy of its puzzle.” President Trump said that he’ll start doing the easier crossword puzzle in the NY Post going forward. (Credit: http://thehilltalk.com) Mr. Trump added that he would likely cancel his subscription to his hometown paper, a relationship with the publication that he says dates back to his upbringing in Queens, NY. “Pop always had the Times under his arm, always reading it,” recalled the president. “We used to fight for our favorite sections on Sundays as kids, after picking up that big thick weekend edition down at Wally’s Candy Store on Main Street. But, no more, the Times and me are over, kaput.” The president indicated that he was still upset about a NY Times crossword puzzle answer from late November 2016.
