The 26-year-old shared a video to let her followers know that ‘shit getting real’, and didn’t hold back her feelings about President Donald Trump. Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, said: ‘I just wanna remind y’all, because it’s been a little bit over three weeks. Trump is now ordering and summonsing federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid. And because she’s a hustler, she still used her political statement to promote her new video. The shutdown has stemmed from Trump’s refusal to approve an appropriations bill to fund the government for the 2019 fiscal year if it does not include $5.7bn (£4.43bn) to fund a wall on the border with Mexico. Federal employees including federal corrections officers, FDA food inspectors, NASA employees, TSA staff, Border Patrol staff, census staff, National Park Service staff, members of the Coast Guard and Federal Aviation Administration air traffic controllers have not been paid during the shutdown and are not entitled to paid holidays or sick pay.
