(Credit: www.foxnews.com) After horribly misspelling “hamburgers” in a tweet on Tuesday (he wrote “hamberders”) so that no one knew what he was saying, Speaker Nancy Pelosi asked President Trump to delay his upcoming State of the Union address until he has time to “edit, polish, and reword the annual speech” so as not to embarrass himself or the country. In 2018, President Trump had 47 spelling errors and embarrassing mispronunciations. He needs to stop, take a moment, and postpone his annual address until he can carefully copyedit what he’s written.” The scheduled January 29th address is an annual ritual that gives the president a chance to go before the nation and make the case for his political agenda. But if more than 30% of the speech is misspelled, as is typical for a Trump address, Ms. Pelosi is concerned that voters will be hopelessly lost. The 2018 Spelling Bee champion will be working with the president on his annual address.
