(Credit: www.nytimes.com) A former housekeeper at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ, who was an undocumented immigrant when she worked there, is being called a hero for a series of practical jokes she regularly played on the president when he visited. Ms. Morales and Ms. Diaz say that they got their revenge in little ways, like slipping Tiger Balm into the president’s underwear. (Credit: www.cbsnews.com) “We were tired of the abuse, the insults, the way he talks about us when he knows that we are here helping him make money,” said Victorina Morales. “So me and some of the other girls decided to do things like short-sheeting the president’s bed, a very funny trick.” Sandra Diaz, a native of Costa Rica who was also an illegal resident when she worked at Trump’s Bedminster club said she, too, regularly pulled pranks on the president because she was disgusted by his negative attacks on immigrants who want nothing more than to work hard and get a fresh start in America. Roberto Rodriquez, a porter who carried Trump’s “resting chair” behind him on the golf course, said he often put a whoopee cushion under the president’s seat for laughs. (Credit: finance.yahoo.com) “I was really good at stretching invisible plastic wrap over his toilet seat so when he sat down and did his business…splat,” said Ms. Diaz. “We could hear him cursing from the other rooms when we were cleaning and we really enjoyed that.” Both women said that dozens of undocumented workers employed at the club were in the habit of playing tricks on the president whenever possible, to exact a small form of revenge on the racist, anti-immigrant Trump. “I used to slip fake chalk golf balls into the president’s bag before he teed off,” said a smiling Carlos Sanchez, another undocumented worker originally from Guatemala, who was a grounds worker at the club. “When he used a driver they would explode and cover Mr. Trump with white powder. I laughed always from this.” Hundreds of other undocumented workers employed by the club, which Trump denied ever worked there (“We didn’t have one illegal immigrant on the job”), say they also enjoy pulling practical jokes on the president, who they call “an easy target because he’s so stupid.” **** Thanks for your claps.
