Donald and Melania Trump left the state funeral of late President George HW Bush at the earliest possible opportunity after following the casket up the aisle of the Washington National Cathedral. According to reports, the President and first lady arrived back home at the White House before the hearse carrying Bush’s remains had left the church grounds. Footage showed the first couple, followed by Vice President Mike Pence, slipping out after following the Bush family and casket at the conclusion of the funeral service on Wednesday.
