The president, who has been critical of Ms. May’s leadership in the past, got a lump in his throat when he heard she was almost ousted. (Credit: www.voanews.com) “President Trump started frantically running around the West Wing demanding to speak to his lawyers and called a late night meeting of his closest advisors,” said one White House staffer who spoke on condition of anonymity. “He didn’t seem to realize that a vote of no-confidence is a UK parliamentary thing, and no equivalent exists here in the U.S. He was a nervous wreck until Rudy explained this to him.” The staffer was referring to Rudy Giuliani, a former empty-headed Fox News contributor who is currently the president’s lead lawyer. Once the president understood that a vote by Congress expressing their lack of confidence in him was not forthcoming, he resumed his Twitter attacks against French president Emmanuel Macron, German chancellor Angela Merkel, the beleaguered Ms. May and other allied leaders he enjoys kicking to the curb when they’re down. **** Thanks for your claps.
