Now, they’ve turned on me, because I’m for America and they’re socialists.” Mr. Trump says that regarding his suit against the government, “I may have to get involved to write myself a check.” (Credit: nola.com) President Trump said that he is suing the U.S. government for $4 billion, which is “both for the emotional and physical toll this job has taken on me, as well as for the lost income. With Mueller staring over my shoulder, I can no longer make any money through illegal real estate deals and offshore shenanigans. And my Russia collusion payments are totally out of the question right now. That was steady income and now it’s gone. I might even have to pay taxes this year, which is an obvious hardship.” Mr. Trump is well known for taking legal action against anyone for almost anything, but a president suing his own government for compensation because the job is hard is unprecedented.
