(Credit: peoplemagazine.com) Michael Bloomberg, a billionaire Jewish man and former mayor of New York City, says there has never been a better time for one of his tribe to run for president. “Donald Trump is so remarkably unpopular, and so many Americans want him and his white supremacist administration out of Washington, the nation might actually vote for a Jew this time around,” said Mr. Bloomberg at an event in Las Vegas on Monday. “We voted for a black man, and narrowly missed electing a woman as president, maybe 2020 will be the year of the Jew?” Weiner and Spitzer might have been Jewish kings if it had not been for their pee-pees. (Credit: www.slate.com) Mr. Bloomberg, formerly a Republican and most recently registered as an Independent, added that if he did run for president it would be as a Democrat. “If you have any aspirations to run for office in this country and win, you can’t do it as a Republican for at least another generation,” said the wealthy businessman. “The racist stink that Donald Trump has left on the GOP doesn’t wash off with one election or even a few. So I’ll go with the Democrats in 2020.” Other Jews have looked hopeful as long shots to take the White House in the past, but none has ever gotten that far. In particular, former New York governor Elliot Spitzer and former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner both looked like they might have the chops to make a run for the presidency before the snake in their pants got the best of them. But Mr. Bloomberg has not had sex for the past 25 years making it possible for him to dodge the #MeToo bullet that has dropped so many other Jews recently in both politics and entertainment, including most famously, Harvey Weinstein.
