US President Donald Trump will visit Ireland in November, the White House has said. A White House spokesperson said in a statement that he was visiting the country ‘to renew the deep and historic ties between our two nations’. Trump will be making the trip as part of a European tour. He is also set to visit Paris where he will be attending the Armistice commemorations on 11 November. Trump, who last visited Ireland before his presidential inauguration in 2014, has previously said he would ‘love to’ visit the country.
