Sadiq Khan does not seem too bothered by the balloon made in his image (Picture: Rex – PA) If you want to watch a balloon depicting Sadiq Khan in a bikini float in the London sky this weekend, then you are in luck. The 29ft blimp has been created in response to the Donald Trump baby balloon which flew over Parliament Square in July, and now the Khan blimp will take to the skies at the same spot this Saturday. The inflatable depicts the Mayor of London lying down in a yellow bikini and will get a couple of hours in the air in Westminster. Here’s everything you need to know about the stunt… (Picture: Catherine Wylie/PA Wire) What did Sadiq say about the Trump blimp? Mr Khan told BBC Radio Four’s Today Programme: ‘I shouldn’t be the arbiter, as a politician, of what’s in good taste or bad taste, what’s important is it to be peaceful, and for it to be safe. ‘And, frankly speaking, the idea that we limit the rights to protest, we limit the rights to free speech because it may cause offence to a foreign leader is a very, very slippery slope.’ The Donald Trump baby blimp flew over Parliament Square in July (Picture: Barcroft Media) ‘The UK, like in fact the US, has a long and rich history of the rights and the freedoms to protest, the freedom of speech, the freedom to assemble,’ Khan continued. ‘Can you imagine if we limited freedom of speech because somebody’s feelings might be hurt?’ MORE: Flying the Sadiq Khan balloon is not an exercise of free speech – it is a party for bigots MORE: Theresa May snubs BBC drama Bodyguard: ‘It isn’t the best way to unwind’
